I’m delighted to announce the successful transfer of Investor in Careers from CSW Group to Investor in Careers Ltd. It’s a brand that many schools and colleges will be aware of. It was the first Quality Award for Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) created by what was then Cornwall and Devon Careers in the mid 1990s. With the arrival of the single national Quality in Careers Standard, IIC became one of the Licensed Awarding Bodies for the Standard and has worked with hundreds of learning providers across the country to assess and accredit their careers programmes.
The licence to deliver the Quality in Careers Standard has been novated from CSW Group to Investor in Careers Ltd. I’m indebted to the team at CSW Group and to Paul Chubb MBE, Director of the Quality in Careers Consortium for their support through this transition. The Investor in Careers approach to the Quality in Careers Standard is one that I’m very proud of. I’m looking forward to supporting schools and colleges to delivery exemplary careers programmes.
